Greetings! You are invited to participate in a study investigating the field of Family Life Education. Dawn Cassidy, NCFR Certification Director is working with  David J. Bredehoft, CFLE, Michael J. Walcheski, CFLE,and Kristin Schoon (Concordia University Research Assistant) to conduct a study which explores the professional characteristics of Certified Family Life Educators.
The goal of this short study is to answer a number of questions that were submitted by CFLEs through the CFLE listserv:
  • Who are CFLEs
  • Where do they work (What is their primary work setting In what setting do they do most of their FLE)
  • On average how much money do they earn
  • What and where was their training
  • What is their identification in relation to the CFLE Life Span Framework
The synthesis of the responses will begin to answer many of the most commonly asked questions regarding the CFLE profession.
  • The study will take you approximately 10-20 minutes.
  • All information you submit will be kept confidential.
  • Individual data will never be used. It cannot be physically connected to a specific participant's name or with any other identifying mark.
  • Individual information will not be shared with any individual or outside group.
  • You are free to withdraw from participation in this study at anytime without negative results.
