I am Director of the Center for Inclusive Child Care, housed at Concordia University since 2001.

The Center for Inclusive Child Care (CICC) is state-funded program, with support from the McKnight Foundation, that creates, promotes, and supports pathways to successful inclusive care for all children.

The CICC provides training, consultation, technical assistance and a wide array of web-based resources to early childhood and school age providers and educators around children with special needs.  Our goal is inclusion and retention of children with disabilities and behavioral challenges in community child care settings.

I also serve as grant faculty at Concordia University in the College of Education.  I teach The Young Child with Special Needs and Social and Emotional Growth of Young Children.

I am author of The Six Keys: Strategies for Promoting Children's Mental Health and co-author of Children and Challenging Behavior: Making Inclusion Work!
