Research Interests
Current projects: Elucidating the role of human papilloma virus (HPV) in (cancer biology) cervical and breast cancer cells. Techniques: cell culture, transfection, RNA interference, PCR, Western blotting, molecular biology.
Postdoctoral work: A role for myosin VI in asymmetric organelle segregation: (cell biology) characterizing an unconventional myosin in C. elegans. Techniques: microscopy, immunofluorescence, antibody production, protein purification, molecular biology.
Graduate work: Directed evolution of T cell receptor antagonists. (immunology) Techniques: yeast cell surface display, random and site- directed mutagenesis, flow cytometry, cell sorting, production and purification of proteins in yeast, PCR, cloning, molecular biology.
