JSTOR

Description
JSTOR is an electronic archive of social science journals that has on-line search capabilities for full-text articles.  All of the key sociological journals (such as the American Sociological Review and the American Journal of Sociology) are archived at JSTOR.

A Few Hints
After typing in your key search words and the publication dates you would like to search for, scroll down and select "All Sociology Journals" to narrow your search to the most relevant journals.

If you want to print an article off of JSTOR, do not print from the Netscape bar across the top of your screen.  Instead, choose "PDF: Economy Print (Adobe Acrobat)."  This will speed up the printing time.

Social Science Information Gateway

This is an on-line catalog of internet resources relevant to the social sciences.  Importantly, the sites are selected and described by a librarian or subject specialist, which means they should be of higher quality.
