Mark Press

I am currently adjusting to a major life change, moving from a parish setting (having served as parish pastor for nearly 30 years) to an academic setting.  However, the challenges of OHSCO were significant enough to draw me to Minnesota.  Michigan is my birth state, and I am still an eager Wolverines, Lions and (especially this year) Tigers fan.

My wife Connie (who is employed as an administrative assistant) hails from Iowa, and we have marked 35 years of married life.  We have raised three children: Sarah (now Mrs. Brian Stolarczyk of Merrill, WI), Jeremy (a PhD student at SMU in Dallas) and Nathan (recently graduated from Valparaiso University and working in Merrillville, IN).  Sarah was married in July, 2006, and Nathan was married in August, 2007.  As of April 12, 2008, Connie and I have the privilege of serving as grandparents to Raymond Mark Stanley Stolarczyk.

I am excited to have the opportunity to lead OHSCO into a promising future in the area of outreach leadership training in our church.  God's people need to be encouraged to share the faith with friends, neighbors and family members, and we need many people who can do such encouraging and training with others.  OHSCO exists to multiply the numbers of those folks!
