Thomas Saylor, Ph.D. is Associate Professor in the Department of History at Concordia University, St. Paul.  He has studied at the University of Akron, the Free University of Berlin, and the University of Rochester, where he received his Ph.D. in History in 1993.  Specializing in 19th and 20th century European history, Dr. Saylor regularly offers a number of courses that deal with aspects of World War Two; among them are Hitler's Germany, Second World War, The Holocaust, and European History since 1914. 

Dr Saylor is the founder and director of the Oral History Project of the World War Two Years, and author of Remembering the Good War (Minnesota Historical Society Press, 2005), an oral history volume on the varied experiences of Minnesota civilians and service veterans during the 1941-46 years.
