 A book that I translated from German to English for Fortress Press was awarded the best scholarly work in Near Eastern Archaeology by the Biblical Archaeology Society, Washington DC in Nov. 1999.  It appeared in 1998.  Authors: Othmar Keel, Christoph Uehlinger, Gods, Goddesses and Images of God in Ancient Israel.

 I have been involved in translations of theological works from German to English, teaching in our evening college programs, and presentations to laity such as 18 years of doing Scripture and Life Bible Studies here at CSP, as well as serving congregations in various capacities during my time at CSP. My wife and I enjoy traveling and have visited some 20 countries, mostly in Europe and the Mideast.
